Hellig-Aand! vor Sorg Du slukke!
Vor Mørkladenhed giør klar!
Livets Kilde Du oplukke!
Davids-Nøgelen Du har.
Giv os, Trøster i al Nød,
Lys for Mørke, Liv for Død!
Guddoms-Dybet du randsager,
Det er Kiærlighedens Væld,
Som det Faderen behager,
Han betaler Hjertets Giæld,
Aandelig han til os ned
Daler med sin Kiærlighed!
Du, den nye Verdens Skaber!
Viis i os hvad Du formaaer!
Kæmp, saa Verdens Fyrste taber!
Kæmp, saa Christi Kirke staaer!
Fyld Guds Huus med Himmel-Lyst!
Byg dit Tempel i vort Bryst!
